This 2 day course will cover 3 topics: All-Digital PLL Architecture and Implementation, Digitally Controlled Oscillator (DCO) & Time to Digital Converter (TDC). Prof. Staszewski is an IEEE Fellow and a populariser of digital radio frequency (RF) and all-digital phase locked loops (PLLs), which he invented in the early 2000s while at Texas Instruments in Dallas. He was given the 2012 IEEE Circuits and Systems Industrial Pioneer Award for this innovating work.
