Shortlist for MIDAS Electronic Project Competition Announced.
After much deliberation, the shortlist for the 3rd level MIDAS Electronic Project competition (kindly sponsored by Analog Devices) has now been announced.
The three entries that will go forward to the final on 15th October are:
• Ruairi Doherty, GMIT, Project title: “Remote-Robot”
• Cornelia Schmitt, Maynooth University, Project title: “New Phase Imaging Technique for Clinical Pathology based on Transport of Intensity Equation (TIE) and Differential Phase Contrast (DPC)”
• Oisin Anderson, NUI Galway, Project title: “Robust and High Efficiency Motor Drive Circuitry for NUI Galway’s 2020 Shell Eco-Marathon Entry”
Congratulations to Ruairi, Cornelia and Oisin and thanks to all those who entered the competition this year. The winner/runners up will be announced after our final which takes place on Thursday 15th October 2020.
