Lecture hosted by the School of Engineering, Trinity College Dublin and held as part of Microelectronics Week 2012
Wednesday 7th November from 10am – 12pm (An hour will be set aside for Q&A)

MIDAS Ireland, Microelectronics Industry Design Association and the School of Engineering Trinity College Dublin, is hosting a lecture entitled ‘Commercialising Your Idea’ as part of Microelectronics Week 2012. The lecture is focused on sharing knowledge about how to transform an idea into a reality and subsequently turn it into a profitable business.
Speakers will tell their story and give people an insight into how they received funding for their business ideas. In some cases they will focus on how they sold their business for a profit. Following their discussion an hour will be set aside for Q&A.
Speakers on the day will include:

? George Young, founder of Commergy (acquired by Texas Instruments a couple of years ago) & Eisergy
? John O’Dea, Manager Industrial High Potential Start Ups, Enterprise Ireland
