Engineers week 2016

Peng Lim, Xilinx and MIDAS Education Sub Committee Lead introduced 2nd Level students to a career in Electronics and related Technologies.
Peng presented a number of demos to the students including Fractal Image calculations using the Xilinx Nexys Video Board, and Gravity Detection and Image Filtering using Zybo boards.
The aim of Engineer Week is to positively promote engineering as a career and to create an awareness of the wonderful, life-enhancing and exciting challenges that engineers are involved in and responsible for. In addition, the nurturing of young engineering talent has been widely recognised as a vital part of our economic recovery.
