As part of the Microelectronics Week organized by MIDAS and Science Week, Analog Devices and the University of Limerick are running a series of interactive lectures and hands-on displays at the University of Limerick on Tues Nov. 13th. The theme of the day is “Science: Engineering the Future”.
A series of three lectures will be given jointly by university staff and Analog Devices on the following topics:
• Communications: “Connecting Tomorrow’s Universe”
• Automotive: “Technology – Driving the Future”
These two of the sessions are already booked out with over 600 second level students confirmed for the event.
In the evening there is a healthcare lecture for parents and second level students titled:
• Health Care: “The Human Body- the Ultimate Machine”.
This lecture begins at 7.30pm in the Foundation Building at the University of Limerick. Prior to the lecture there is an interactive exhibition by Analog Devices and the Faculty of Science and Engineering, UL, in the Atrium beginning at 6.30pm. All are welcome.
